In a field that is so cluttered you have to stand out in order to be
recognized. Find a niche and use it to entice the public. Whenever they see
anything relating to that niche your business will instantly come to mind.
In addition to flyers, postcards and other forms of marketing, word of mouth
is the best! As well as most consistant. When you perform a great service it
never goes unnoticed. Don’t be afraid to cash in on that advantage. Offer your
clients special incentives, eg. (Bring two new customers and get $5 off of your
service.) Offer weekly specials, senior specials, city worker specials. These
small extentions of gratitude weigh in high on the business ethics scale. The
community enjoys spending money with businesses who give back.
